Professional Fighter and Lighting MMA Instructor Mark Vorgeas will pedal his bicycle from San Francisco to Laguna Hills over 5 days in early December. His goal is to raise over $5000 for Fighting for Fitness programs and the youth competition team of Lightning MMA. Fighting For Fitness is a 501(c)(3) public charity purposed to reduce childhood obesity utilizing Mixed Marital Arts as the exercise vehicle for youths ages (8-17) in Orange County CA. Mark also hopes to raise awareness for kids and parents as to the importance of physical fitness for children. Mark will document his journey on video and facebook as he embarks from San Francisco on December 9th travelling approximately 100 miles per day stopping to sleep in several spots along the way! His 550 mile adventure will culminate on December 13th when he returns home to Lightning and Joker's MMA in Laguna Hills and a public welcome home reception!
